Splash From The Past

Things are finally warming up a bit here in Provo, and one thing is on everyones mind- Spring Break! Even if you aren’t in school, the rising temperatures and sunshine bring to mind summer and vacation time. In preparation for that, I wanted to spotlight some of my favorite vintage inspired swim!

First up is this cute little number from J. Crew. The underwire is great for those girls with a larger bust, and the belt adds a cool vintage Bond-Girl vibe. It also comes in 4 fun colors!

Belted Underwire One-Piece, $125-129

There’s nothing better than a cute pattern on a swimsuit, and this one hits the mark. It also comes in 3 other awesome patterns. Mod Cloth always has great options for vintage swim in lots of sizes, so it’s definitely a favorite of mine 🙂

Need I Say Shore? One-Piece, $84.99

One of my favorite independent designers actually lives right here in Provo. Kortni started her own line of swimmers and they are so darling to mix and match. They have lots of sizes, styles, and patterns, so you’ll be sure to have a unique suit

She also makes stuff for kiddos and men- How cute are these?!

I love this suit from Anthropologie because not only is it so glamorous, its also super figure flattering. This one also comes in other patterns and colors, so check it out 😉

Seafolly Boyleg Maillot, $148

Last is one of my personal favorites- it reminds me of the classic swimsuit barbie. Who doesn’t want to channel barbie on the beach with some white framed sunglasses?

Tommy Bahama Mitered One Piece, $148

I hope this post got the vacation vibes flowing and helped you get some ideas for how to keep your vintage flair, even at the beach or by the pool. Are any of you headed somewhere fun and sunny any time soon?
